Air Quality Web Site
In 2000 we were approached by one of our local government customer to assist in building a web site to provide on-line up to date data on air quality. The source data was provided by air quality monitoring stations throughout the Borough. The raw data was manipulated and stored in powerful SQL servers. Our task was to provide a web front end to this data that would be of high enough performance to deal with the millions of records.

Based on the PERL language our solution was delivered, and the air quality site which it forms part of has since won a great many awards. The site is still in use today and remains one of the best examples in the country of providing dynamic air quality data.
