Estate Parking Permit Management
Almost every local authority in Great Britain has a responsibility to manage car parking on their housing estates and housing blocks.

Frustrated by a lack of flexible software to manage this process one of our housing authority clients approached us with a view to building a simple but powerful estate permit parking management system.

Working closely with our customer, the system took over 9 months to develop. Built using Microsoft’s ASP.NET the multi user system is used heavily by the 6 area offices, issuing over 300 permits in the first few weeks alone.

A report commissioned by the authority found that the system has provided the authority with significant cost savings, and has facilitated an increase in revenue of over 14% in the first year alone. The other key findings being:

• Increased quality of data and the associated savings associated with it.
• Increases customer satisfaction through increased service levels.
• Reduced complaints and appeals with regards to parking infringements.
• Increased audit controls over parking bays
• Reduction in demand in area offices customer services desks for serving parking matters
• Improved service levels to the London Borough of Islington
